Building a website for free using who? And what kind of website can generate the most successful traffic?

So I signed up with Google adsense. But as it is, my personal website isn’t able to generate much traffic since its just a way to keep in touch with old friends. But I’m wanting to build my website (hopefully for free at the moment) I just don’t know what KIND of website I should build, and what website builder(example: Doomby and shutterfly.com) I should use. Any help in this would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Be creative. Think to yourself, what do other people want from the internet?? What type of websites do you visit most often. What type of website would make something eaiser for you or others. Google helps people find websites, facebook helps connect ppl to old friends and communicate, stickum helps ppl jackoff to webcam girls, wikipedia helps gives you information on subjects, twitter broadcasts your life as it happens to the world. use other sites as examples of why people find them useful and what else could become useful to people. build shortcuts in someones life through a website
